On September 15, 2021, Governor Pritzker signed into law historic legislation to promote clean jobs and clean energy across Illinois, with a special focus on communities of color. The legislation passed the Senate on a bipartisan vote after more than a year of effort from a broad coalition.

What We Did

Built business support for the bill by reaching out to a number of companies

ClimateVoice worked hard to help build business support for the bill, reaching out to a number of companies including Microsoft and Salesforce, which were among the many corporate supporters of the legislation.
