The Transportation and Climate Initiative (TCI) is a collaboration of 12 Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states, including the District of Columbia, that aims to improve transportation, reduce carbon emissions in the transportation sector, and continue to develop the clean energy economy.
ClimateVoice campaigns are designed to allow you to voice your support for key legislative initiatives that can lead to significant climate-positive impact. Our three active campaigns today focus on CEJA (Illinois), the Clean Economy Act (Virginia), and TCI (East Coast).
When you voice your support for these campaigns by signing the pledge, we will add your voice to a petition targeted at companies who should be speaking up on these initiatives.
At the end of each campaign, we will send a letter to companies, thanking those that spoke up, and calling out those that didn’t.
We will engage in campaign through the media and social networks to shine a bright spotlight on what we expect of companies, which companies are stepping up, and which aren’t.
To make clear to companies how important this is to employees and students, we will publish aggregate information about the number of signers of our pledge, and of each petition and letter - including the total number of people, the number who are employees of a given company, and the number of students majoring in a given field.
Yes! We respect your privacy.
You can choose whether to have your name be public on these letters and petitions (and on the pledge overall), or whether we should count you as a supporter but keep your name confidential.
