One of the founding team members of ClimateVoice, Sarah Keller, has been promoted to Digital Engagement Senior Manager, a newly created position, as of March 2023. Sarah has more than a decade of experience and an extensive background in climate communications. Prior to joining ClimateVoice in early 2020, she was part of the communications team for the Global Climate Action Summit.
In her new role, Sarah will help lead ClimateVoice’s digital engagement strategy, using her expertise in social media and digital marketing to supercharge employee-focused campaigns. “Sarah’s savvy and expertise have been absolutely crucial to our growing profile and impact,” says ClimateVoice Founder Bill Weihl. “The world of social media is in more flux than ever right now and yet remains critical to engaging corporate employees around climate policy issues. Having Sarah further focus her talents will only help us extend our reach. We congratulate her on a promotion that is well earned.”
Most recently, Sarah has spearheaded the launch of the newly formatted ClimateVoices with Bill Weihl series on LinkedIn.
Sarah launched her climate communications career working for the International Council on Clean Transportation, the clean air NGO credited for uncovering the Volkswagen diesel emissions scandal. She previously served as Deputy Director of Communications for the Global Climate Action Summit and most recently served as a volunteer Co-Campaign Manager for Josiah Hill for State Representative (District 33B) in her home state of Minnesota.
She holds a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Administration from the University of San Francisco’s Masagung School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies, International Studies, and a minor in business from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (go Badgers!)
