Climate, Justice and the Critical Role of Companies

ClimateVoices · Episode 2 · 04-13-21

Bill speaks with two dynamic leaders in the environmental justice movement: Isha Clarke, Student Environmental and Social Justice Activist (a member of the ClimateVoice Advisory Board), and Sekita Grant, VP of Programs at the Solutions Project. They discuss how the people least responsible for creating the climate crisis are bearing the brunt of its negative consequences. In addition, they talk about the imperative for companies to help shape and create policy by providing activists like Isha and Sekita a seat at the table when crafting climate solutions. The conversation looks at climate as more than a technical problem to be solved, but as a human problem, with tremendous global impact.
