An interview with Galen Hall, a social scientist who researches climate and energy politics. After graduating in 2020 with a degree in physics from Brown University, he worked in the Brown University Climate and Development Lab, leading several studies on public counter-movements against greenhouse gas mitigation policies as well as state-level interest group politics. As a PhD student at the University of Michigan, Galen is continuing this line of research by leveraging big data to understand the dynamics of political influence across the United States.
