Is your sustainability strategy guided by compliance? Business as usual? Net Zero impact? ... Or doing business as though we actually belong to the living world. (Because we do.)

ClimateVoices Featuring Gil Friend

ClimateVoices · Episode 55 · 09-26-24

An interview with Gil Friend, CEO of Natural Logic, Inc., Managing Director of Critical Path Capital, and executive coach. Gil advises leading companies, communities, and investors on value-driving sustainability strategies. He has been a noted sustainability pioneer for nearly 50 years and is widely considered one of the founders of the sustainable business movement. Gil was named an inaugural member of the Sustainability Hall of Fame by the International Society of Sustainability Professionals (along with Interface Flor CEO Ray Anderson, energy guru Amory Lovins, and Natural Step founder Karl-Henrik Robèrt), and was deemed “one of the 10 most influential sustainability voices in America” by The Guardian.

Bill and Gil are jointly delivering a keynote at Capgemini’s Business to Planet Connect event at Climate Week NYC where they’ll guide the audience on our respective journeys from sustainable business to belonging. I will share my story and vision of “Finding Inspiration in Adversity” while living with ALS while Gil will challenge traditional sustainability approaches and propose a fresh perspective in “Rethinking Sustainability.” Given this particular event is closed door, we wanted to share some of the same insights more broadly.
