Our F Minus approach with trade associations will be to demand that they also cut ties with fossil fuel lobbyists.

ClimateVoices Featuring James Browning

ClimateVoices · Episode 31 · 09-11-23

An interview with James Browning, the Founder and Executive Director of F Minus, which built the first-ever database of state-level fossil fuel lobbyists and their non-fossil fuel clients, many of whom are being harmed by the climate crisis. F Minus is using this data to push for divestment from fossil fuel lobbyists. He has 20 years experience as a public interest advocate, most recently as Communications Director for Global Energy Monitor, where he tracked the extent to which fossil fuel lobbyists are representing companies and organizations being harmed by the climate crisis. Browning previously worked for ten years as a state and regional director for Common Cause and wrote “Deep Drilling, Deep Pockets,” a series of reports about the fracking industry that was featured on MSNBC, NPR, and in several documentary films.
