ClimateVoices Featuring Saad Amer

ClimateVoices · Episode 24 · 04-03-23

An interview with Saad Amer, an environmental justice expert and a consultant to the United Nations, who served as an expert reviewer on the most recent AR6 IPCC report. Saad has researched and written extensively on the global climate challenge for outlets like National Geographic and PBS. He’s the Founder of Justice Environment, a social impact consultancy that focuses on climate change, sustainability and the just transition. He has organized some of the country’s biggest campaigns dedicated to improving voter turnout among people of color in our democracy. I’m talking with Saad as part of our Leading Activist Voices Series, leading up to Earth Day 2023.
